Jackie was in her third year of Business
school at Colorado State University when the idea of roasting coffee caught her
attention. That summer Jackie purchased a 5 lb commercial coffee roaster and
began taste-testing on friends and family. Eventually she began selling her
various coffees at farmer’s markets where she gained a feel for the tastes that
her customers preferred. As winter set in, Jackie’s customers began requesting
local shops to carry her products and the rest is well…History!
Within
a year, Jackie had outgrown her 5-lb roaster. She now offers a more extensive
list of coffees, and can be found in more stores—but you can still find her
eagerly discussing her passion for coffee at many local farmer’s markets each
summer.
